Mare Wisma is an author, educator, painter, photographer, storyteller, and a life-long cat lover. Many of her stories are about remarkable cats with human-like personalities, but unmistakably feline temperaments.
A native New Yorker, Mare has lived and worked in many countries. She now enjoys sharing her skills and passion for literature with her young readers by conducting workshops on writing and the creative process in schools, bookstores, and libraries in the New York area.
